Hi and welcome !

Living in rural southern Denmark is the perfect gateway to Scandinavia,the British Isles  and Germany.

My favorite places to travel with my photoequipment is particularly Britain,Scotland,Scandinavia and Ireland. -Hence the name of this site.

I started photographing-as so many others-with a Kodak Instamatic box camera with a square bulb on top in early years of high-scool in mid 7o-ties.

All along the equipment has been re-newed and for many years I´ve shot colour-slides.

Now it´s all digital.. Brilliant!

Working with Canon Eos D5 MK II and MK III with various lenses, all in the L-series my demands on gear is satisfied.

Many hours are spent in dome-hides as well as roaming forests, moors and along beaches. - This brings a lot of satisfaction to the curious photographer. I constantly learn new things about wildlife hidden to the everyday eye.

My favorite shots are birds in action and macro.  -However a weatherbeaten face, architecture, art of nature and everyday wildlife is put to the list of pictures.

Being a member of the local photo-club brings demands on updating new gear, software and techniques.

Still, I belive that it is imperative that the final picture is shot with as little editing  possible.
